Firstly, who are you and what’s your role here at Circe Law?

I’m Abi, I’m Head of People and Operations.

How’s your time at Circe going so far?

I’m really enjoying my time here at Circe! Transitioning from a tech industry to law has been fascinating. Every day brings new learning opportunities, and I’m enjoying diving into the intricacies of the field.

What made you choose to work here?

I’ve followed Circe since the launch due to my longstanding friendship with Jade, our CEO. When the opportunity arose to join the team, I jumped at the chance to be a part of something special. The alignment with Circe’s mission and values made it an easy decision for me.

In one word, could you describe yourself?

“Inquisitive” – because I have a natural curiosity about the world around me. I’m always eager to learn new things, explore different perspectives, and seek out new experiences.

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Choosing just one meal feels almost impossible, but if I had to, it would definitely be something from Mexican cuisine—it’s my absolute favourite!

Who was your idol growing up?

Growing up, my idol was definitely David Attenborough. His passion for wildlife and the environment, coupled with his ability to educate and inspire millions around the world, was incredibly inspirational to me.

If you had to live outside the UK, where would that be and why?

If I had to live outside the UK, Sweden would be my top choice. It’s the perfect blend of stunning landscapes and dynamic culture that would make it the ideal place for me and my family to live.

What is your favourite thing about Circe Law?

My favourite thing about Circe Law is the flexibility it offers. Whether it’s the option to work from home or come into the office, the ability to tailor my hours to suit the needs of my young family, or the autonomy I have in my role to introduce innovative initiatives based on my prior experience, it all adds up to a work environment that truly values both professional excellence and personal well-being.
