Our team are highly qualified and widely acknowledged as thought leaders in the industry. As well as supporting our Clients, our team are regularly invited on panel discussions, asked to provide training to other professionals nationally and booked for informative presentations to the community on key issues.

CEO & Head of Private Client

Jade Gani

Jade is a founder and CEO of Circe Law. Having spent most of her career managing Private Client teams across the home counties, she brings a wealth of experience to the team. Jade shows a real passion for supporting older and vulnerable clients within the community and is heavily involved with various local charities and initiatives. She is a fully accredited member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (“STEP), a fully accredited member and Director for Solicitors for the Elderly (“SFE”), a member of the Law Society’s Wills & Equity Committee and a Founder and Director of The Wishing Will Foundation. Jade is also passionate about creating a supportive and inclusive environment for the team to flourish here at Circe Law.

Jade’s areas of specialism include:

  • Complex Wills & succession planning;
  • Family estate planning;
  • Inheritance Tax Advice;
  • Lasting Powers of Attorney (“LPAs”);
  • Estate Administration including obtaining the Grant of Probate;
  • Creating and maintaining Trusts; and
  • Court of Protection Applications.

Lisa-Marie Keefe

Lisa is a Senior Associate and heads up our Probate and Trust Property Team.

Lisa qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2012 but has been working in the legal sector since 1997 gaining lots of valuable experience.  Lisa is also a qualified Licensed Conveyancer, a Licensed Probate Practitioner and a full accredited member of the Solicitors for the Elderly.  Lisa is the Regional Director for the Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Branch of the Solicitors for the Elderly and also a Dementia Friend.

Probate and Trust Property work can be complex, challenging and at times very emotional.  Lisa is an expert in her field, she has the experience, empathy and knowledge to combine her hybrid technical skills and knowledge to provide our clients with the service they require to achieve their wishes or the wishes of their deceased loved one with the best outcome.

Lisa is a hybrid lawyer specialising both in Property matters and Private Client matters, her dual specialism helps provide advice in these specialist areas as these two areas of law are quite often interlocked.  Lisa feels honoured to be able to assist clients at such emotional and stressful times.

Interests:

When she is not working, Lisa enjoys reading and spending time with her husband Richard and their dog Ernie, they enjoy spending time on holidays in Cornwall.  Lisa is also a “petrol head” and keen motorsports fan.

Head of People & Operations

Abi Duncombe-Squibb

Abi is the Head of People & Operations at Circe Law Ltd.

At Circe, Abi plays a pivotal role in shaping the company’s culture and ensuring that its greatest asset—its people—are supported, empowered, and inspired to achieve their full potential. Her strategic mindset, coupled with her hands-on approach, makes her an invaluable asset to the Circe team.

Prior to joining Circe, Abi amassed over a decade of experience in various HR leadership roles, where she demonstrated her ability to drive positive change and foster a culture of growth and innovation. Her expertise encompasses areas such as employee relations, employee engagement, and organisational effectiveness.

Abi’s educational background includes certifications in Women’s Leadership Development Programme from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and certifications from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) in Human Resources Management. Additionally, Abi is deeply passionate about mental health awareness and is a certified Mental Health First Aider.

Outside of work, Abi enjoys spending time with her young family, immersing herself in books and video games, and exploring the great outdoors.

Social Media and Marketing Assistant

Tom Atkinson

Tom is part of our team as our Social Media and Marketing Assistant.

His job revolves around attracting new clients, and therefore runs the company’s social media pages. Being the youngest member of the team, Tom has a good grasp on social media that has proved valuable in his first step into the world of work, as he runs Circe’s LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter and TikTok, as well as aiding with the website, events and connecting with the community.

With this being his first job, Tom possesses the eagerness to impress, learning and developing in his role. Although social media and marketing may be the description of his job, Tom thrives helping his co-workers with anything, and this versatility has become one of his greatest strengths.

In his time outside work, Tom enjoys spending time with his friends, while continuing to study German, History and Economics.
