Industry stalwart, Jade Gani TEP, kicks off 2023 with a bang.
Jade is well-known across the sector for her work with older and vulnerable Clients and secured back-to-back titles in the British Wills & Probate Awards 2020 and STEP PCAs 2021 as the winner of the “Young Practitioner of the Year” category. She is the founder of The Wishing Will Foundation CIC (providing a local charitable Will Scheme), a guest writer for LawSkills, a Presiding Judge for the STEP PCAs 2023 and a newly appointed Director of Solicitors for the Elderly.
Now, at the age of just 32, Jade has launched her own much anticipated new law firm, Circe Law Ltd. That’s Circe (the Greek goddess), not Circle (the shape) and pronounced Sir-Sea,for those who are wondering!
“Our name was formed from the first letters of key values that represent our work and who we are: Courage, Integrity, Respect, Charity & Equity. It helps that Circe is also a Greek goddess and sorceress, a much-needed symbol of female empowerment within a traditionally very male-dominated industry,” said the young CEO.
Circe Law sets out to change what it means to work within high street law firms; tackling issues like burnout, presenteeism, unequal/unfair pay, lack of diversity and more by creating a supportive and nurturing environment for staff to flourish and fall back in love with working in the law. “When we are passionate about what we do and are fully supported to do it in meaningful ways, we will innovate and advocate with a fervour that seems to have seeped out of the industry in recent years as a result of poor leadership and bad practices,” added Jade.
To celebrate the future of this new-age law firm, the Circe Law team hosted a dazzling launch party on the 26th January which was extremely well attended by well-known supporters across the industry. In keeping with the name, the event included a sleight of hand magician that captivated the audience with his mind-bending tricks.
