Jade discusses the Probate Service’s decision to remove experienced staff, replacing them for over 100 newly recruited and inexperienced staff, describing it as a ‘poor’ set of decisions.
She notes the impact this has on grieving families, with many unable to get closure, and experiencing stresses they wouldn’t otherwise.
Her view is compounded by fellow ALL director Amy Wallhead, with an emphasis on the financial burdens put on families during this process, which are only increasing.
