Before this month at Circe Law, I’d only ever studied the law of Trusts in a theoretical context, and then again, never as applied to probate, family, and Private Client work. My time at Circe grounded this in a more practical context. I’ve learned much on this area which goes far beyond what I’ve studied so far, ranging from Court of Protection work to Client portfolios across international borders.
This time has also driven home the importance of a broad education in the law; elements of trusts, taxation, land and contract have all come up in the natural course of my time here, before considering the specialist research Circe engages in to keep itself ahead of its peers.
I’ve become comfortable with an array of legal work including but not limited to: drafting simple Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney, applications for Probate and Conveyancing work, the different classes of taxable and non-taxable assets for Estates and the Administration of Estates Act 1925. As you can see, Circe is prepared to trust its visitors with a lot of responsibility and get them up to speed.
My time at Circe has been facilitated and supervised by the excellent staff. They are truly wonderful; Circe deserves every award it has already received in its infancy. I’d like to thank everyone at Circe for this experience and am sure the firm will continue to go from strength to strength.
