Circe Law Ltd is a supportive environment that fully embodies their values. It shows in the atmosphere in the office and the way the team treats each other. Everyone is fully committed to ensuring that I felt welcomed and incorporated into the team.
This mindset and culture is especially shown by Jade and Lisa, who took the time to teach me back down to the basics. My studies as an undergraduate at Royal Holloway, University of London gave me my foundational legal knowledge, however, the theoretical side of things is vastly different to experiencing it. Who would have thought that a girl who struggled with Equity, Trusts, and Land at university would end up developing an enthusiasm for Private Client, Probate and Trust Property? However, being able to have the personal side of the law through the interactions with Clients and, also, pushing myself with drafting Wills, Probate applications, Lasting Power of Attorney applications and much more, made me really establish a passion for this area and helping those with these matters.
I had previous experience through volunteering throughout my undergraduate degree at the Royal Holloway, University of London, Legal Advice Centre, which allowed me the chance to develop and engage with the legal theory I learnt in my modules and put it into a practical context. I put the skills learnt volunteering, to help ensure I was capable and ready to adapt for my month with Circe.
This experience that they offered me stems down to the people at Circe investing their time, and knowledge in me to ensure that I prospered there and learnt everything I could. I was heard and trusted from the beginning, no question was a stupid one and the door is always open with Jade and Lisa. I am grateful to Circe for all the support that they offered at my time being here.
