Prior to joining Circe Law, I had no experience, let alone a minimum amount of knowledge about the Legal industry. When choosing my A levels, I always knew I wanted to work in the Law industry, so I decided to reach out to Circe Law for work experience to kickstart my interest in the profession. I am now able to say that after spending a week here, my love for Law has certainly grown stronger, and I hope to pursue a career in this industry in the near future.
During my week at Circe, I learnt how to draft Wills and interact with clients over the phone and via email, I found this to be both informative and enjoyable. I also got comfortable with the case management programme ‘LEAP,’ which I found difficult to grasp at first but then Jade made it very straightforward to learn and utilise by myself. When using the software, Jade demonstrated to me that one of the most crucial skills to have when starting out in the legal industry was attention to detail. I was also given the opportunity to sit in on initial client meetings, which I found to be fascinating since it highlighted the fact that the Circe Team values their clients and strives to connect with them in order to build a strong foundation.
I’d like to acknowledge and thank Jade and the whole Circe Team in particular, for making this week so enjoyable for me and providing me with a deeper understanding of all the work that happens in this particular sector of Law.
I had a fantastic week of work experience at Circe. I’ve gotten to know the staff, and the general mood in the office is incredibly encouraging, and I can tell they’re all extremely passionate and dedicated to what they do. They have welcomed me with open arms, making me feel welcome and included in the team. I will be forever grateful for the experience and newfound insights I have gathered whilst working at Circe.
