As a final year law student, I quickly found out that getting legal experience is quite difficult. I was fortunate to get accepted into my university’s Legal Advice Centre which consequently provided me with the opportunity of applying for work experience at Circe Law Ltd.

Throughout my three weeks at Circe Law, I had the opportunity to draft LPAs and Client letters, as well as conducting legal research and filling out bereavement forms.

I was unsure how I would find the Private Client sector as Equity and Trust was something I found daunting and intricate during my studies. However, thanks to an amazing team who gave me guidance and support throughout my time here I have learned so much which has led me to looking more into this area of law, which I previously had not considered. I also found out that Private Client is so different and more interesting than what my modules have taught me.

A huge thank you to Jess and Shannon who have supported me and answered my endless questions for the past three weeks. They taught me the fundamentals of how a law firm is run, how to draft Client letters and so much more. During my time at Circe Law, I have also gained confidence with the diverse tasks that are required through hands-on experience with case files, as well as gaining more in-depth knowledge of the different legal processes the firm assists their Clients with.

I also want to thank Jade who gave me this opportunity, which has been extremely valuable and I’m sure the knowledge and experience I have gained will benefit me greatly in the future.

I wish Circe Law all the best in the future. I can’t wait to see how far Circe Law and its wonderful team will go!
