Circe Law has earnt every single accolade that it has won. I was privileged enough to get to work within this team, learning what it is that makes Circe stand out from others.
From the onset it was a very hands-on approach to understanding private client matters, which I think is the best way to have learnt. Every task is accompanied with an explanation of its importance and an emphasis on why it must be done. It is incredible how much trust is placed on you by the team; they have full confidence in your abilities, nurturing them throughout the placement. They want to see you succeed in whatever it is you hope to get out of this opportunity, encouraging you to ask questions to broaden your understanding and to get involved in tasks at hand. I have been involved in matters I would have thought would be far too high up for work experience, but it is clear they truly want the best for you, and to do that there is no better way than to get hands-on experience. Coming from a degree of Criminology and Psychology, it has been warming to see how Circe has put the human and emotion back into law, allowing clients to feel valued and supported during challenging times.
Not only do they treat each client matter with the upmost respect, patience, and efficiency, but this also reflects on to how they also treat each other. As an outsider, I was immediately welcomed into the team as if I was one of their own. At not one point did I feel out of place. They have the impeccable ability to maintain levels of professionalism yet manage to establish an environment where everyone feels equally valued and respected for the role they complete, myself included despite only just arriving.
It is evident that this team goes above and beyond for each client and the atmosphere they foster is full of respect and genuine care for one another. This is what sets them apart.
